Wireless Future was built up in 2001 from the know-how on telecommunications networks developed in Villa Griffone where the Guglielmo Marconi Foundation and the Department of Electronics and Information Systems of University of Bologna have a seat. In this background Wireless Future represents "the business oriented element" where the know-how obtained during R&D activities is the principal asset of the company.

Wireless Future mission is to offer highly specialised technical support in the Telecommunications market with technical consulting, training and software tools development in the following areas:

• Radio Network Planning and Optimisation of networks based on all principal cellular and wireless standards, namely: GSM/GPRS, UMTS, HSPA, LTE, TETRA, WiFi, WiMax, DVB-H, DVB-T
• Electromagnetic emissions control through the evaluation of field levels originated by radio communications sites of any kind, including cellular, wireless, radio an television broadcast, point-to-point links
• Analysis and optimisation of data and multimedia applications performance on mobile radio networks
• Processes integration over wireless platforms
